LayoutIntent/@Mirroring

    XMLWordPrintable

    Details

      Description

In some situations, an image has to be printed mirrored on a substrate. For instance if you want to print behind some transparent material.

This method needs to be expressed in LayoutIntent.

One idea is to extend the attribute "@Sides" by some additional values like "OneSidedMirrored" and "OneSidedBackMirrored".
Another way would be to introduce a new attribute "Mirror" or "Transformation". "Transformation" is more generic and would also include scaling and rotation.

Orientation ? new in JDF 1.6 orientation Orientation SHALL specify the orientation of the artwork on the surface as defined by @Sides. Orientation is used to define products such as backlit displays, where the orientation of the image with respect to the final product is rotated or mirrored.
