We need to rivive PrintCondition for XJDF in order to have a container for PrintCondition queries.
a.) For offset production according to standard print conditions, e.g. Fogra
b.) For digital production with varying colorant mixes, meduía dependencies etc.
Table 5.1: Generic Input ResourceSets
PrintCondition ? | PrintCondition SHALL specify the target print condition for a given printing process. |
8.117 PrintCondition
PrintCondition is used to describe the target print condition for a given printing process.
Table 8.213: PrintCondition Resource
ColorantOrder | NMTOKENS | ColorantOrder SHALL specifiy the complete list of colorant identifiers or full coatings that can be applied when printing according to this PrintCondition. The first colorant or coating in the list SHALL be applied first. Additional details of the colorants SHOULD be provided in a ResourceSet[@Name="Color"]. Note: ColorOrder can contain colorants that will be printed although not present in the PDL. Examples include full coatings or light colorants such as light cyan that are internally selected by the printer. |

6.69 PrintCondition
PrintCondition is used to describe the target print condition for a given printing process.
At least one Resource/Part/@PrintCondition SHALL be specified for each ResourceSet[@Name="PrintCondition"]/Resource and SHALL be unique in a workflow.
Table 8.213: PrintCondition Resource
ColorantOrder ? | ... | ColorantOrder SHALL specify the number and order of Colorants including primers and varnishes for this print condition. Note: ColorantOrder is a description of the PrintCondition and mainly used for filtering in queries. |
Name | ... | @Name SHALL identify the print condition. Note: The print condition will typically be dependent of the general print substrate class but will typically have multiple variants which are dependent on the details of the individual print substrate. See Part/@PrintCondition. |
PrintQuality ? | ... | ... Note: PrintQuality is a description of the PrintCondition and mainly used for filtering in queries. |
